deploying their business infrastructure initiatives.
William T. Clifford
- Division President

William T. Clifford joined
Aperture in 2005 after serving as a member of Aperture's Board of
Directors since 2003. He was Chairman of the Strategy Committee
and a member of the HR/Compensation Committee of the Board during
that time. Mr. Clifford previously served as a General Partner of
The FieldsGroup, a venture capital and management services firm
focused on early stage Information Technology software and services
firms. In this capacity, Mr. Clifford advised on equity investments
and provided operational guidance and consultation to executives
of the portfolio companies of The FieldsGroup Venture Fund. Prior
to The FieldsGroup, Mr. Clifford was President and CEO of Gartner
Group, Inc., the world's leading authority on the information
technology industry, user and vendor technology strategies and
market research. During Mr. Clifford's tenure, Gartner exhibited
phenomenal growth. Annual revenue increased from $175 million
in fiscal 1993 to $780 million in fiscal 1999. Under his leadership,
Gartner's product line expanded from a single research-based service
to include eBusiness/eCommerce research, consulting, events, benchmarking
and market data products and services. In addition, he was instrumental
in globalizing Gartner's research impact and established research
operations in Australia, Asia and South America.
Before joining Gartner Group, Mr. Clifford was President of the
Central and National Account divisions, and the Corporate Vice
President, Information Systems Development at ADP. Prior to ADP,
he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO)
at Applied Data Research (ADR), Inc., the world's first independent
software company and a leading systems software and relational
data base management organization. He also served as national
practice director for Applied Technology Consulting at Arthur
Young & Co. Mr. Clifford began his career at IBM Corp. in
sales and marketing.
Mr. Clifford previously served as the non-executive Vice-Chairman
of the Board of Aperture. He also serves on the board of directors
of Crucian Global Services, ViaNovus Technologies and as a member
of the advisory board of Passport Software, Inc. He has been featured
in CEO Magazine, Leaders Magazine and Forbes/Executive Edge; and
has been a keynote speaker and panelist at numerous Technology
Industry conferences. He also served on the Executive Advisory
Board of the Stamford (Connecticut) Public School Academy of Information
Technology (AIT) and the IT Advisory Board of the Norwalk (Connecticut)
Community College (NCC). He has also served on the boards of ProBusiness
Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:PRBZ), and Gartner Inc. (NYSE:IT).

Harold Feinleib
- Vice President of Product Development

Mr. Feinleib has always
been interested in bringing the power of the computer to people
who are not computer professionals. His track record for developing
world-class software products dates back to 1968 when he developed
VP/CSS, a Time-sharing Operating Environment that was the foundation
for the success of National CSS, which he co-founded. While at
National CSS, he led the development effort of a leading fourth
generation database product called NOMAD. Today, nearly thirty
years following its initial development, NOMAD is still marketed
worldwide. NOMAD enables end users to build their own database
applications.
While working as a consultant, he developed the concept for Aperture
Technologies' first product, called The Graphic Data Center Manager
(GDCM). This unique product combined a high precision drawing
tool with database management and is the basis of the Visual Information
Management concept. The reaction of many early customers was extraordinary.
The Data Center Manager at Dow Jones, the first customer for GDCM,
cited that in addition to the benefits of time and cost savings,
GDCM helped raise the self-esteem of his department! They did
a more professional job and presented a better image to the rest
of the organization. This had a profound effect on Mr. Feinleib.
It led him to visualize how these same benefits could be extended
to other areas of an organization. The result was the development
of Aperture. Today Aperture is helping thousands of users do a
better job in many different application areas.
Mr. Feinleib's motivation can best be summed when he says, "People
understand information far better when it contains diagrams, pictures
and data. Many people can benefit from the huge investment organizations
have made in drawings and data, if they could only get easy access
to them. Aperture is the tool to build applications that tie this
information together in a logical framework so it is accessible
through an intuitive visual interface. This changes the nature
of management systems because it opens up a new class of applications
that can benefit an organization profoundly. |

Steve Yellen - Vice
President of Product and Market Strategy

Steven Yellen brings over 20 years of extensive marketing and technology experience to his role as Vice President of Product and Market Strategy at Aperture. He is responsible for product/market strategies, business development, product management, and product marketing. He has authored numerous white papers and technical articles, and has frequently spoken at industry conferences and seminars on both Data Center Management and Sales and Marketing Integration.
Previously, Mr. Yellen served as Product Line Manager of Windows Products at DataViz. At DataViz, he brought the company's first Windows product to market, and with profit center responsibilities, grew the product line to 40% of company revenue at a 37% annual growth rate. Mr. Yellen has also held technical and management positions at McDonnell Douglas and IBM.
Mr. Yellen has been an active voice within the technology thought-leadership realm throughout his career. He received his Masters in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Connecticut, Masters in Science in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut. |

Mike Schramm -
Vice President of Worldwide Operations

Mike brings 18 years of sales and senior sales management experience to his role as Vice President of Worldwide Operations at Aperture. Previously, Mike served in Senior Sales Management roles at iPlanet (Sun-Netscape Alliance) and Sun Microsystems Software Tools Division. During his tenure at iPlanet, Mike was the top sales performer worldwide. His performance resulted in his subsequent promotion to Regional Sales Manager where he led a top performing team focusing on the Financial Services District. At Aperture, Mike is responsible for worldwide sales to all Global 1000 accounts.
Mike started his IT Sales Career at NCR Corporation in 1987; he has held direct sales positions at Attachmate, Open Connect Systems, Xylan and Forte' Software. He holds a MBA in Marketing from the University of Bridgeport and a BS in Management and Economics from the University of Dayton. |

Eileen Spellman
- Vice President of Finance

Eileen Spellman joined
Aperture in 2003 as Director of Finance and brings 15 years of
experience in financial controls, policies and procedures –
including cash management and related forecasting, audits, budgeting,
business plans and human resources management. At Aperture, Ms.
Spellman is responsible for all global accounting, budgeting,
financial reporting and maintenance renewals. She has established
a number of key corporate policies relating to financial governance,
internal controls and human resource management. She is committed
to maintaining profitability through business process integration
and cost management throughout the company.
Ms. Spellman has worked at a variety of companies before she
joined Aperture including most recently Peppers & Rogers Group,
a customer relationship management consulting company where she
was Assistant Controller. Her other responsibilities included
involvement in the creation and implementation of Web-based project
economics, utilization and operational reporting as well as management
of all financial closings, audits and reporting. Ms. Spellman
was also a member of the executive team of PhotoChannel, an e-commerce
startup that specialized in online photo processing and network
creation for retail photo outlets where she directed the U.S.
headquarter’s financial operations and Oracle systems implementation.
She also helped launch the company’s U.S. presence as well
as establish and document its corporate policies and procedures.
Previously, Ms. Spellman served as Controller and Manager of
Finance and Information Systems at Electronic Retailing Systems
International, a publicly traded innovative technology leader
in wireless electronic shelf labels sold to medium to large supermarkets.
She has also worked at News America Marketing (formerly Actmedia)
as Director of Financial Operations and Systems. Ms. Spellman
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Iona College and subsequently has qualified as a CPA. |

Jessica Hohn
- Vice President of Marketing Operations and Communications

Ms. Hohn brings over 12 years of Public Relations and Marketing experience to Aperture as Vice President of Marketing Operations and Communications. In her role, Ms. Hohn is responsible for worldwide marketing, public, analyst and investor relations and internal and external communications for the Company. In addition to overseeing strategic direction and planning, Ms. Hohn facilitates new product launches, provides support for the worldwide sales organization, and assures consistent messaging to maintain Aperture’s position as a leader in the data center industry.
Prior joining to Aperture, Ms. Hohn spent over 8 years as Director of Corporate Communications for KANA Software, a CRM Company, where she was responsible for worldwide public, analyst and investor relations. During her tenure at KANA Ms. Hohn lead the company through over 4 mergers and acquisitions and her efforts helped earn KANA numerous industry and corporate awards as well as worldwide recognition and awareness in the press and analyst community. Before KANA, Ms. Hohn served as an account executive at McDougall Associates in Peabody, MA where she worked high profile accounts in the consumer, high technology and travel and transportation industries.
Ms. Hohn received a BA from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Connecticut. |
